European Data Protection Coordinator
This UK registered Bank requires a Legal or Data Protection specialist to join its legal and compliance function.
This challenging role will involve advising with respect to market regulations including the Financial Conduct Authority and other principles, alongside determining the impact on the organisation of regulatory changes. Reporting into the Legal Officer, you will also be expected identify compliance risks, undertake records management issues, take responsibility for regulatory management of internal procedures and undertake relevant legal research.
The right candidate will have completed the Legal Practice Course or be ISEB-qualified in Data Protection. Experience in a compliance or data protection role would be advantageous, as would a previous role in banking or financial services. Commercial acumen and strong problem-solving skills are necessary.
