Key Responsibilities
To contribute to the performance of the team through the following:
Responsible for research into and investment views on specific sectors (including detailed understanding of companies, review of profit forecasts and appraisals of their financial position) leading to new idea generation and appraisal of existing holdings;
- Positive performance contribution from investment recommendations;
- Clear, accurate and proactive advice to the Head of Desk;
- Assist in the development of the research process;
- Produce research notes for internal use as directed.
Experience and Skills Required:
- Relevant experience as a European Analyst, preferably with sector experience of Financials/Utilities/Pharmaceuticals;
- You will possess the IMC and CFA level 1 qualification as a minimum;
- Strong ability to assimilate analytical information and provide accurate comment to the team;
- Demonstrate advanced numerical skills;
- Confidence and presentational skills to conduct meetings with directors of quoted companies and internal with the fund management team.
