European Financial Controller – Online & Technology Company, North Dublin recruitment
Careers Register is working with an established Ecommerce organisation with a view to recruiting a European Controller to lead a sizeable team.
Working closely with the General Manager and CFO in California, you will gain outstanding exposure with a highly ambitious organisation recently involved in a number of European acquisitions in the Cloud Computer Sector.
A key player in the management of the European business and an active participant in company acquisitions both from an assessment and on-boarding perspective.
In a broad role, your duties will include:
• Guiding management decisions by directing the preparation of forecasts of reimbursements and expenditures
• Developing financial plans and budgets for the organization based upon these forecasts resulting in the achievement of net revenue targets; monitors variances to budgets.
• Manages the organisation’s risk by establishing credit policies; tax policies, developing and managing credit procedures;
• Participate in the company’s MA process both from an assessment and on-boarding perspective.
• Review, assess and update internal controls and policies as necessary and as they pertain to collections, billing and revenue recognition in a subscription model.
This role will suit a Qualified Accountant ideally with solid exposure to US GAAP. Your strong leadership skills, combined with your strong Ecommerce sector exposure will be important to your long term success in the role.
