European Power Analyst – Trading House – URGENT recruitment
Job Responsibilities:
- Daily recalibration and predictive runs of proprietary model representing a specific geographic power market
- Fundamental analysis of market drivers that support and inform the modelling process
Preferences:
- Good commercial experience of the German Energy market (ideally Power) having worked within the Middle/Front Office of an Energy Major, an Investment Bank or a Trading House operating in the market.
- Excellent analytical skills, including the ability to identify trends and to propose coherent trading strategies.
- Strong academics, with a Degree (ideally a Masters or equivalent) in a numerate discipline.
- German Language desirable
- Experience with power flow modelling and VBA programming
