European Relationship Manager, Salary: £35k + £5k - £10k Bonus, Location: London
Summary
An opportunity has arisen to join a leading energy company in London as a European Relationship Manager. You will coordinate the service delivery to Pan European energy users principally headquartered in French speaking territories or with significant energy consumption in these areas, plus UK Relationship Management role within European Relationship Management Team.
This will involve coordinating different departments (EU Sales, Relationship Management, Operations, Carbon, and Bureau services, Trading Desk, Analytics and Strategy) in order to deliver services in a timely and effective way.
You will be responsible for:
- Customer Relationship Management
- Coordinating with Operations Analysts
- Coordinating with other European Account Coordinators
- Management of a Single Country Account
- Produce regular training updates on the markets of the assigned countries.
- Identify key changes necessary to improve the Customer experience.
- Expectation management: Ensure the client is well briefed of all activities occurring within the account in a timely manner.
- Identify and promote new business opportunities within existing accounts wherever possible. Where necessary always invite the service specialist to the meeting/conference call to ensure the sale is agreed.
Skills and Experience Required
- Fluent in expressing thoughts and commercial ideas, able to sell yourself and the value based service offering.
- Excellent commercial awareness including profit loss understanding.
- Ability to take complex B2B requirements and develop appropriate supporting processes.
- Persuasive, brings people around to their way of thinking.
- Ability to understand complex processes, markets and systems and identify high value commercial adjustments.
- Ability to manage a number of projects and ensure agreed business objectives are achieved.
- Excellent in the management of process and detailed information.
- Previous business development and relationship management experience.
- A proven record in operating integrated marketing activities.
- A proven understanding of project management methodology.
- A business related degree or equivalent would be preferable.
- A good working knowledge of Microsoft software (Excel advanced).
