European Restructuring Associate – Paris recruitment

On each of our assignments, the composition of the team deployed in terms of skills, experience and industry knowledge is drawn from our world-class talent base and specifically tailored to the needs of the client. As the demands for our services increase, our team also needs to grow and we are now actively looking for new talent for our team in Paris.
At AM, you will gain hands-on experience working with experienced crisis management professionals on a diverse range of complex assignments. Successful candidates may already have expertise in one or more key focus areas:
- Organisational Design and Transformation
- Financial or Operational Restructuring
- Revenue Enhancement
- Working Capital Management
- Experience working on significant turnaround and/or performance improvement assignments at Board/Shareholder level.
- Flexibility across industry sectors and a wide range of client situations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (MBA or other advanced degree a plus) from a top rated French University
- Financial modeling experience and good understanding of financial statements
- 4-5 years experience in strategy and operations consulting from a top tier consultancy
- Excellent organizational, problem solving and communication skills
- Demonstrates integrity, leadership and objectivity
- Team player who excels in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, challenging work environment
- Willingness to travel
- Fluency in French at English essential; additional European languages are highly advantageous.
For the more experienced applicant, the following is highly desirable:
- Ability to build a 13 week cash flow model without supervision
- Can contribute to development of a business plan
- Ability to lead a portion of a project and supervise client employee
