European VAT Manager
Leading multinational group seeking to hire a well experienced European VAT Accountant to establish their internal VAT management function in house.
Key Accountabilities include:
- Establish the EMEA VAT framework.
- Ensure VAT Compliance and review invoice requirements periodically.
- Monitor VAT and business processes to recommend SAP requirements.
- Evaluate VAT differences perform regular reconciliations.
- Correspond with various European tax authorities.
- Support business units with VAT related queries.
- Work directly with Accounting Department to ensure proper VAT accounting.
- Organize, prepare and perform audits with authorities and auditors.
Requirements:
Strong European VAT technical skills are essential and the successful candidate should be degree qualified and hold CTA designation as a member of the ITI.
