Our client is a global event management company with offices in Australia, New Zealand, Asia and the UK. They deliver a wide range of events from product launches to conferences and incentive travel trips across some fantastic locations. Their clients are impressive and include the likes of Google and IBM and the services they offer include full event management as well as a new focus on creative event production.

As part of their exciting UK growth plans they are recruiting an Event Manager into their events department. Working closely with Event Directors and being supported by Event Coordinators this role will be responsible for:

• Taking the brief
• Costing the logistics for the proposal
• Negotiating with suppliers
• Booking flights, accommodation and transport
• Liaising with the venue
• Overseeing the delegate management
• Managing the event budget
• Leading the project team on-site
• Main client contact throughout
• Full financial reconciliation

The ideal candidate will have delivered their own conferences, events and incentives ideally within an agency environment for around 2 years and be confident in their ability to lead an event from concept to completion. A real drive for success and a sense of fun are so important for this company who will offer great career progression and the chance to work on fantastic international events. A year's experience with Galileo combined with fluency in either French or German will give you an added advantage when applying for this role!
