Events and Outreach Associate recruitment

The Events Outreach Associate for Third Party Events will be responsible for managing event sponsorships and speaking engagements in order to promote and showcase Moody's thought leadership, products and services in the U.S.

Key Responsibilities:
- Correspond with sponsors and speakers regarding logistics, benefits, deadlines (ad, hotel, exhibition, registration)
- Negotiate contracts and maintain vendor relationships
- Work with events managers and key stakeholders to determine the most important points to showcase at exhibitions
- Post events to relevant Moody's websites and event systems
- Coordinate the outgoing and return shipment of all conference materials including displays and booth hardware, printed collateral, premium items and signage
- Oversee the scheduling and maintenance of all display and booth hardware
- Contribute information to the pre-conference and post-conference planning and wrap up meetings and provide information for the post event analysis when applicable
- Produce, negotiate, and create premium items
- Work with event managers and key stakeholders to create signage for event sponsorships
- Maintain accurate database in a timely fashion
- Monitor costs and ensure all invoices have been received and processed
- Provide logistical support for the broader events portfolio, including pre-event work and onsite execution

Qualifications
- Minimum one year of experience in the events profession
- Bachelor's degree preferably in Finance, Business or Marketing
- 20% Travel to events (early morning and late nights occasionally required)
- Lifting up to 20 pounds
- Well developed project management skills.
- Ability to multi task and work to tight deadlines in a fast paced, changing environment.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, including good negotiation skills.
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong professional relationships with both internal and external parties
- Highly organized and good time management skills
- Proficient in MS suite including Word, Excel , Access and PowerPoint
