Events Coordinator Job in Hallandale 33009, Florida US
Zumba Fitness, LLC is headquartered in Hallandale, FL, and has experienced exponential growth in the past year. We are currently seeking an Events Coordinator to join the Zumba family. Reporting to the Director of Events, the Events Coordinator will assist with the coordinating of administrative work needed in the events team such as event marketing requests, event marketing timelines, travel booking and submission of POs / invoices. In addition, the coordinator will also assist on coordinating smaller event logistics as well as assisting event producers at larger events (on-site off-site) with coordination of sponsorships and all other event needs.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in coordinating events or working in an operations related field (logistics, etc).
- Bachelors Degree, preferably in Marketing or Business Administration preferred.
- Must be detail orientated and organized.
- Excellent communication skills (written oral).
- Skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
- Previous experience with large-scale events or promotional campaigns is a plus.
- Must be able to adapt to a fast paced work environment.
