Events Executive with Marketing recruitment
Our client, a top 50 city law firm are currently recruiting for an Events Executive with Marketing experience. You will be reporting into the Head of Marketing and the role will be to provide support to the Events Manager and work jointly with the Marketing Executives and Assistants on the coordination and administration of seminars, conferences, workshops, training and other ad hoc events. Main duties will include:
EVENT MANAGEMENT
- With the Events Manager, organising the initial planning aspects of an event
- Liaising with external suppliers - Sourcing and booking venues, conducting site visits where appropriate
- Arranging the reprographics and collation of invitations, delegate papers and materials
- Formatting of delegate materials, applying the firm's in house style to all documentation
- On-the day management of events, including travel - Analysis of feedback including liaising with the Business Development
MARKETING EXECUTIVE
- Perform initial research of event including competitor research, marketing industry research, check in social media
- Initial meeting with group; agreeing purpose of event, objectives of event, agree type of event
- Contacting speakers, including both internal and external
- Booking meeting rooms and agreeing final programme
- Sending out invitations and booking all catering / AV equipment
- Confirm all final arrangements including delegates, speakers, venue
- Providing feedback post event
The successful candidate will either have come from a LEGAL OR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES background and have both events and marketing experience, however the event management aspect of the role is paramount. You must prove to be outgoing, personable as well as professional and have the ability to liaise with Senior Management (including Senior Partners).
