Events Manager – Fixed Term Contract recruitment

The Role

Bloomberg is looking for an Event Manager to join our Central Marketing team in London on a fixed term contract. In this position, the candidate will support the Bloomberg Global Events Team responsible for the development, planning, management and execution of events across Bloomberg Professional Services.

Key responsibilities

- Recommend and create events that support business objectives
- Coordinate all aspects of event logistics pre, during and post event of seminars, conferences, trade shows, and proprietary events
- Manage registration lists, databases, RSVP's process
- Coordinate all IT orders for events
- Responsible for full budget creation, management and post event reconciliation
- Manage coordination of event reporting to Team Lead
- Manage inventory of premium items
- Provide support to Team Lead on special projects

Essential Key Skills

- Substantial direct event experience working with an agency or corporate in house events team
- European venue and supplier knowledge
- Passion for Events industry
- Outstanding communicator and negotiator
- Manage high volume of projects
- Excellent prioritization
- Creativity and out of the box thinking
- Team Player
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Events degree or equivalent work experience
- Fluency in one of the following languages advantageous: Russian, Polish, Turkish, French, Italian or Spanish
