Job Title:                                        Field Marketing Manager ( 6 months Fixted Term Contract)

Role Overview

The successful candidate for this role will be responsible for the operational development and delivery of Algorithmics’ field marketing activities to generate and nurture sales leads. A major focus of the role will therefore be to deliver an active outbound lead generation and awareness program ensuring the smooth logistical execution of all field marketing programs for events, tradeshows, direct mail campaigns, etc. Based in London

Job Description

•  Execute focused event marketing calendars as defined by management for a variety of markets and solutions.

•  Carries responsibility for execution and planning of EMEA wide events and tradeshow programs

•  Responsible for successful execution of EMEA events, providing assistance with the development of the field marketing program, logistics, and measuring success of events.

•  Responsible for all aspects of EMEA  tradeshow management including pre-event meetings, packing and shipping, set-up/take-down, on-site presentation, shipping of collateral and exhibition equipment, execution of marketing and lead generation activities, public relations (as needed), etc. to ensure successful return-on-investment at shows.

•  Work with solution marketing and regional sales directors to identify opportunities in the market and act on them through strategic marketing initiatives.

•  Update Salesforce.com with marketing leads, and assigning leads to sales

•  Deliver marketing collateral, invitations and direct mail campaigns that follow brand guidelines. 

•  Assist the Pre-Sales and Sales team with presentations and customer meetings, as required.

•  Represent the company positively and professionally at tradeshows, launch events, speaking engagements, and customer sites.

•  Track and measure results of marketing tactics and programs

•  Manage sales input to create invitation lists

•  Coordinate event logistics, including sourcing venues, accommodations; audio-visual equipment;  registration, on-site support and delegate management

•  Order corporate gifts manage distribution to clients

Job Qualifications Competencies

•  Minimum significant experience in managing events in the high-tech industry (preferably with risk software vendor or with a financial services company) will be an advantage.

•  Masters or Bachelor degree from accredited university in business, marketing or a related discipline

•  Strong interpersonal, presentation and writing skills

•  Proven success in creating and executing event marketing plans

•  Sufficient business experience to understand the customer’s business problem

•  The role will require an element of flexibility concerning working hours to match a busy program of external events.

•  A self-starter capable of thriving in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment that requires a positive ‘do it all’ attitude, resourcefulness and the ability to multi-task
