EVM Data Processing Specialist
In this position, you will assume global
responsibility for the non-life EVM calculation
engine. This includes the coordination and consolidation of EVM non-life processes as well as the production and handling of large volumes of EVM non-life data.
The opportunity:
Operating within a matrix culture and organization in Zurich, you will support the coordination and management of the EVM production process with the overall objective to standardize and rationalize the respective tools and processes, especially with regard to data handling and team-internal housekeeping. Helped by your good communication and interpersonal skills, you will interface with various internal and external parties and act as primary point of contact in EVM non-life production and data management issues for Finance Operations Processes PC. Furthermore, you will develop and maintain RIC EVM standard reports and, over time, also handle tasks related to US GAAP closing.
About you:
The ideal candidate will have a degree in business data processing, information management or an equivalent subject as well as two years' work experience in a financial institution. Besides a strong interest in information services and efficient data handling, you also have a basic understanding of economic valuation and accounting concepts, advanced MS Office skills (esp. Access and Excel) and ideally know-how in SQL and Oracle. Your language skills in German and English, both written and spoken, are good, and personally you stand out because of your team spirit, strong process orientation and your project management skills.
