A top investment bank is looking for a trade support specialist with expert Excel VBA skills to join their team in NYC.
This will be a contract to hire opportunity and the rate will be based on experience.
This individual must be comfortable working in a high paced, stressful environment as he or she will be sitting on the trading desk dealing with traders on a day in day out basis.
Financial experience is a must for this role.
Expert Excel VBA skills is a must!
Technical skills - Very good general knowledge and capabilities in scripting languages, databases, SQL, networking, market data, Linux, Windows and application configuration.
Business knowledge - Candidate should be looking to build upon a solid knowledge base in global finance, Investment Banking, Equities, trade workflows, and basic knowledge of Option pricing and structured/exotic products.
Troubleshooting expertise - This is the key skill set of the successful candidate. The emphasis is ability to manage the situation - determine and understand impact from an outage, provide the proper level of communication, think outside the box for workarounds, bring in the appropriate resources, persistence in working toward restoration of service, follow up with root cause analysis and completion of action plan.
In addition, we are looking for a hard working, highly motivated individual who is comfortable in a trading environment. Excellent communication skills, follow through, and relationship building skills required.
