LRS Consulting Services needs an experienced Technical Exchange Administrator for a for a 6 month contract to hire with our client in St. Louis, MO.

Job responsibilities:
•Lead a migration from Exchange 2007 to 2010
•Install, configure, administer and maintain server and application clusters including hardware, operating systems and application software in a high availability environment
•Monitor and manage applications, device availability, system reliability, performance and storage resources
•Evaluate, diagnose and establish work plans to resolve system, OS, application and capacity issues
•Manage and implement OS and application patches and upgrades
•Implement migration plans from legacy or non-Exchange platforms to Hosted Exchange platform
•Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations
•Document systems configurations and upgrades
•Assist with developing and documenting support procedures
•Generate reports on server and application availability and performance
•Recommend changes to improve systems and configurations, and determine hardware or software requirements related to such changes
•Help research, evaluate and recommend software and hardware products
•Help provide new hardware specifications to team based on application needs and anticipated growth
•Work on multiple projects simultaneously as a team member
•Manage and resolve assigned helpdesk incidents
•Perform troubleshooting for complex hardware and software issues
•Perform troubleshooting on escalated user account or application specific issues
•Use established change management processes, requiring operational procedures be performed with minimal customer impact, (i.e. during established maintenance window)
•Participate in rotating 24X7 on-call assignments
•Help train Tier I and Tier II support resources

At least 5 years experience supporting Exchange 2003/2007/2010 (building, troubleshooting, configuring and administering servers)
At least 2 years experience with Windows 2003/2008 servers
Experience with Exchange Clustering
