Exciting small agency seeking Web Application Developer / Support person at Graphic Language Inc (San Francisco, CA) (allows remote)
Job Description
We are currently seeking a pt/ft mid-level web developer to join our savvy team. Half of the job is customer support and half is web application development using PHP, Zend, Smarty, HTML, CSS, Javascript, and MySQL. You'll be working with some great people on a leading syndication tool for realestate. We're moving to a "decentralized office structure" (in other words, work-from-home) model, so yes, you can work in your pajamas. Candidates should be able to work from 9 to 5 PST.
Ideal candidate will be an organized self-starter with a diverse skill set including strong communications skills, a desire to do daily hands-on work, and a passion for building quality websites.

Primary responsibilities include:
- Assist in planning and developing feature-rich web applications including e-commerce and web-services applications
- Build advanced user-interfaces using Javascript (jQuery)
- Create seamless XML feeds
- Assess and implement solutions integration
- Craft legible and elegant, easy-to-read code
- Design database structures and draft SQL queries
- Communicate and interface with clients, prospects, and partners
- Coordinate with resident graphic designers, flash programmers, and web producers on a daily basis
- Implement industry best-practices in everything
- Estimate project costs and manage project scope
- Support products and websites as needed
