We are working exclusively with a leading Australian organisation based in Melbourne CBD. Due to increase in workload and success of the organisation, they are looking to recruit a Risk Analyst with Market Credit risk skills.
To join this successful middle-office function you will be an experienced credit and market risk analyst with an academic background in mathematics, statistics, physics, engineering or similar. Your few years’ experience will have been gained from the energy or financial markets sector.
To achieve success in this role you will use your strong analytical skills to support the risk management team and in turn the trading activities of the business. You will ideally be able to use Matlab, Excel, Access and SQL, and have experience with financial risk management tools, modelling and techniques including VaR, EaR and CFaR. Understanding of market financial instruments, their application and risk is essential.
