The Business
MyWealth is responsible for the digital business that was launched in 2012 to serve the growing self-directed investor population. These customers are digitally oriented and have decided to manage their own wealth. By creating MyWealth, the Group established a new category of financial services in Australia and developed a global first offering for customers.
The Team
The MyWealth team is responsible for leveraging Customer Centred Design research to inform the design of the digital experience across MyWealth, working with early adopters to finesse the current in market offering and achieving early stage business goals. In particular, the MyWealth Products Services team is accountable for the end-to-end product lifecycle and overall product profitability.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the General Manager of MyWealth, the Executive Manager, Product Distribution has the overall responsibility for product delivery, management distribution of the MyWealth business.
As the business continues to grow, your key focus will be seeking new opportunities to drive the distribution of MyWealth through CBA channels as well as external opportunities. As part of your distribution focus, you will need to work closely with the MyWealth Marketing team to align activities and maximize business value. Along with leading the Products Services team, you will also be a member of the MyWealth leadership team.
What will success look like?
The MyWealth team has customer centricity as a key guiding principle and importantly the Executive Manager, Product Distribution must role model this. The following work will be a major component the role:
- You have overall accountability for product management, delivery and distribution across the entire MyWealth suite.
- You will be accountable for overall product sales and driving business outcomes in line with financials.
- You will contribute to the overall business strategy and define the product roadmap aligned to the Digital Channels strategy.
- You will seek new opportunities to drive the distribution of MyWealth through various CBA channels and business units.
- You will work closely with other business functions including Customer Experience, Editorial and Technology.
- You will support other teams such as MyWealth Marketing to develop a co-ordinated marketing distribution plan.
- You will actively lead the Products Services team with a focus on personal development and coaching.
- You will align the product distribution with our customer service model and be accountable for managing the call centre relationship.

- You have extensive experience providing thought leadership on product delivery, management distribution within the financial services industry.
- You are driven by identifying developing new business opportunities and relationships.
- You possess strong leadership people management skills, along with proven channel management digital experience.
- You are highly analytical and have a strong financial acumen.
