Purpose of the Role
Provide infrastructure support and vendor management to key stakeholders requiring the delivery of exchange connectivity, direct feeds, low latency requirement, infrastructure build outs and project deployments
Activities
- Technical hands on exchange connectivity, vendor management, related to Market Data, Exchange Connectivity Direct Feeds.
- Candidates will have strong project experience and diverse technical background related to exchange connectivity, vendor management, telco service providers and stakeholder management.
- A strong technical understanding of trading platforms, order management systems, program trading systems, algorithmic trading and market connectivity
- Proven track record in project delivery, with a working knowledge of exchange connectivity, direct feeds and associated products
Key Deliverables
- Ability to perform functional analysis, formulate plans make recommendations to business stakeholders
- Ability to implement troubleshoot a variety of problems in high pressure environments.
- Ability to make recommendations gather consensus to move forward
- Ability to liaise with key stakeholders and external vendors – varying levels of management
Scope of Role
- The role is an integral component of the APAC Execution Market Connectivity team and will be required to provide analysis and direction that ultimately the business and key internal stakeholders will be dependant upon to make decisions
People Management
- Not specifically applicable but team leader aspirations or experience would be beneficial
Financial Management
- Ability to assist the Project Management Office and Application Technology teams to deliver solutions and support that are within or under Programme budgets
Essential Experience
- Ability to operate in a high pressure and fast paced environment
- Experience in application testing and connectivity troubleshooting
- Working knowledge of exchange connectivity and direct feeds
- Working knowledge of exchange delivered trading platforms
- Ability to operate in remote teams and deliver in geographical diverse environments
