Execution Trader / Emerging Debt & FX recruitment
Our client, a private bank based in Geneva, is looking for its Operations Asset Management department a Buyside Emerging Trader.
Mission
To execute orders on behalf of institutional fund managers
Responsibilities
- The successful candidate will help develop and manage the fund’s trade execution capabilities
- Executing trades across a range of products within FX, credit and interest rates, across emerging markets
- Developing relationships with brokers and portfolio managers by acquiring a reputation as a reliable contact person within the Bank.
- Playing an active role in expanding our network of correspondents by selecting the best brokers/counterparties based on various criteria.
- Providing input for updates to our analysis and trading tools.
Profile
- Significant trade execution experience within the emerging debt FX space
- Strong experience in an autonomous trade execution environment
- University degree or equivalent
- Excellent knowledge of the most common desktop applications and financial tools.
- Team-orientated and an ability to work under pressure.
- Strong English and French
