In the AQX° Securities Zurich office we are looking for an
Execution Trader (m/f)
Key Responsibilities
- Fixed income execution (cash, listed derivatives, swaps)
- Execution of client orders in all relevant asset classes
(stocks, fixed income, derivatives, funds, fx) - Trading of listed products, as well as managing OTC transactions
- Ability to operate in liquid and illiquid instruments
- Electronic trading (DMA) as well as manual order execution
- Composition and distribution of quantitative and qualitative research
- Direct client-facing role (including meetings, some travel)
- Data and statistics responsibilities
- Weekly internal and external Reportings
Professional Profile
- Completes banking traineeship and / or degree in mathematics, finance,
engineering or similar required - Relevant experiences with an outstanding record with a major sell-side desk,
Electronic trading skills - Working knowledge of option theory, exchange exams (deutsche Boerse, FSA,
Series 7, etc) are a plus - Knowledge of the credit markets and deep understanding of market structures
- Working knowledge of Excel (VBA preferred), execution platforms such as RealTick, Sungard Valdi, Fides
- Excellent verbal and written skills in English, good communication skills in
German are necessary - Solution-orientated thinking with an overall positively influencing attitude to drive the business forward
- Outstanding communication and ability to face clients
