Execution Trader recruitment
Client is looking for an exceptionally talented individual to join their Global Trading Strategies team as a European Markets Trader. The trader will take on multiple responsibilities, including trading, trading strategy implementation, and execution optimization. The hours are approximately 2am to Noon, Monday (early morning) through Friday.
Execute trades in the European markets
- Trade a wide variety of instruments including: equities, currencies, bonds, commodities, and interest rate swaps
- Conduct trade analysis
- Develop implementation strategies
- Improve the implementation process, including enhancing the electronic trading systems by working with the development team to define and test new features/capabilities
- Ability to code changes into existing trading system to enhance performance
REQUIREMENTS
- 1-5 years trading experience, preferably some electronic trading experience and preference to work European hours
- Strong analytical skills
- Some C++ , JAVA, Perl or VBA experience preferred
- Basic SQL knowledge
- A bachelors and/or masters degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Finance or a related field with strong GPA
