Location: Miami, FL
The trader will take on multiple responsibilities, including trading, trading strategy implementation, and execution optimization.
Execute trades
- Trade highly liquid ETFs
- Conduct trade analysis
- Develop implementation strategies
- Improve the implementation process, including enhancing the electronic trading systems by working with the development team to define and test new features/capabilities
- Ability to code changes into existing trading system to enhance performance
REQUIREMENTS
- 3-5 years trading experience with intra-day low to medium volume trading
Thorough comprehension of technical analysis (price, volume, momentum, etc)
- Strong analytical skills
- Some C++ , JAVA, Perl or VBA experience preferred
- Basic SQL knowledge
- A bachelors and/or masters degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Finance or a related field with strong GPA
