Execution Trader recruitment
A growing, dynamic investment company is looking an Execution Trader to join its hedge fund team. This is a key role for the team, requiring responsibility for trading across fixed incomes, equities and futures.
Job Description
- Execute fixed income, equities, FX and derivatives trades in Asia, Europe and US markets for actively managed funds and assist in post investment management;
- Proactive in interaction with the Portfolio Manager and provide market information;
- Identify arbitrage opportunity to generate alpha;
- Support trading operation and help downstream to achieve settlement efficiency;
- Liaise with investment, operations and risk team to setup dealing guideline in the trading room to ensure dealing procedure and policy are complied with the regulatory framework;
Qualifications
- An excellent educational background with evidence of strong career progression and achievement
- Experience at a leading investment management business in a front office role
- Ability to perform under pressure
- Strong knowledge of the fixed income and equities trade life cycle
- Advanced Excel skills
- SFC licensed representative
