Position Description
Due to expansion the trading group is seeking ‘expressions of interest’ for a highly intelligent, motivated and innovative individual to join our trading/execution team. The position involves managing the trading/execution function for the night shift (Asian and European markets), from approximately 7.00pm to 5.00am. The trading function is non-discretionary in nature; the role is to manage the software and execute the trading signals generated by the system using in-house designed, custom built software.
In addition to trading, there is scope for the successful candidate to be involved with trading-related projects including several cutting edge issues affecting the futures and FX markets such as market impact modeling, low latency trading, and the development of algorithmic execution strategies.

Total compensation package will be internationally competitive and commensurate with background and qualifications.
Candidate Attributes
The trading group is seeking an individual who can demonstrate the following characteristics:
Experience/Skills/Qualifications
• Excellent academic background to Graduate level (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline such as Finance, Econometrics, Mathematics or Computer Science but will consider candidates from all degree programs.
• Ideally 2 to 3 years post qualification experience in a professional (banking, finance or trading related) organization. Recent graduates are welcome to apply.
• Outstanding computer skills and familiarity with commercially available software packages.
• Trading experience is not required and a programming background or experience designing or developing be-spoke software applications is desirable, but not essential.
Personal Qualities
• Analytical, problem solving approach to work with the ability to think quickly and handle pressure.
• Self motivated and hard working with entrepreneurial drive.
• The ability to follow instructions and be comfortable working in an environment of constant technological change.
• Keen interest in financial markets and trading.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Be comfortable working both autonomously and as part of a small, but diverse international team who value privacy and discretion.
• Enthusiasm to work in multi-cultural/multi-functional teams and to share knowledge and expertise.
Personal Situation
Willing to relocate to the Bahamas and experience a unique culture as well as the idiosyncrasies of island life.
Make a minimum three year commitment.
