Acclarent's initial focus is on achieving the goals of sinus surgery with novel, endoscopic, catheter-based tools - Balloon Sinuplasty devices. Through the Balloon Sinuplasty technology and our Relieva product portfolio we offer ENT patients another option to conventional endoscopic surgical technologies. FDA clearances for these devices were completed in 2005 and the products were commercially launched in the US that same year. Through our core technologies and commitment to innovation, Acclarent will continue to advance novel devices in all areas of ENT.

The executive assistant will perform diverse administrative duties requiring confidentiality, initiative and sound decision-making for the executive staff. Individual will rely on excellent organizational skills and the ability to effectively handle multiple priorities. Duties will include coordinating meetings, coordinating travel arrangements, preparing presentation materials, ordering and maintaining supplies, submitting expenses and/or review incoming correspondence and prepare responses. Additionally, the EA will exercise independent judgment, escalating serious or unique problems to higher levels. The EA may provide direction and guidance to less experienced team members. Support the CEO administratively (and possibly other C level executives) which includes, but is not limited to: coordinating meetings, coordinating travel, preparing expense reports, organizing events, attending meetings on behalf of or with the CEO, managing scheduling conflicts, optimizing time management, being able to anticipate and proactively address situations, and other support as needed. Meet with individuals, special interest groups and others on behalf of executives, and board of directors; Prepare agendas and make arrangements for committee, board, and other meetings; Read and analyze incoming memos, submissions, and reports in order to determine their significance and plan their distribution; Review operating practices and procedures in order to determine whether improvements can be made in areas such as workflow, reporting procedures, or expenditures; Set up and oversee administrative policies and procedures for offices and/or organizations; Supervise and train other clerical staff.

Qualifications

Previous support of a CEO is required. 10+ years of C level support is required. Excellent Microsoft Office Suite skills is required. Knowledge and experience with additional software systems (such as expense reporting, travel, or purchase order software) is required. Experience in planning and coordinate events preferred. Ability to manage complex projects preferred. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Strong and precise follow through skills is required.
