SUMMARY The primary purpose of this position is to provide administrative support to designated executives and/or directors within the Pharmacy Operations Department. The incumbent is also required to perform all tasks in a safe manner consistent with corporate policies and state and federal laws. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned: Compose letters, memos, bulletins and electronic messages on a regular basis. Field communication gatekeeper for pharmacy. Produce, update, summarize and circulate routine and adhoc reports as needed. Provide oversight of invoicing payments for various vendors. Answer phones, forward calls, take messages, and perform other receptionist duties. Maintain VP and director?s schedules; arrange meetings and set up conference calls and webinars. Make travel arrangements and process travel expense reports. Maintain filing system and order office supplies. Create PowerPoint presentations and other materials or handouts. Request, collect, and compile any information needed for corporate headquarters. Ability to work within strict time frames and resolute deadlines. Ten-key punch speed of four thousand (4,000) SPH. Typing speed of sixty (60) WPM. Proficiency with the Microsoft ® Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access). Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. High school diploma or general education degree (GED), plus two (2) years of administrative experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. In addition, one (1) to two (2) years of store-level management and/or regional office experience is helpful.
