The Client Coverage Group is responsible for managing the Bank's largest institutional client relationships across the Corporate, Financial Institutions, and Government sectors. Our bankers' primary focus is to leverage our unique insights and best advice to deliver total capital solutions to our clients.
Role Purpose:
Provide the National Head of Government, Health and Social Infrastructure and their team with experienced, pro-active, timely, and accurate secretarial, administrative and other business management and support functions.
The Executive Assistant will assist the General Manager manage the day to day running of their team and assist team members with administrative and business management duties as required
Key Accountabilities:
Duties include but not limited to:
- Ensure smooth and effective management of General Managers diary, telephone and e-mails and ensure the General Manager is sufficiently prepared for the day's meetings
- Organise and schedule meetings, facilities and resources, travel, catering, conference attendance to enable the General Manager and their respective team to effectively use their time on business matters
- Extensive communication between other offices in Australia New Zealand that report to National Head of Government, Health and Social Infrastructure
- Organise in-house and external functions including planning days and workshops on behalf of the General Manager and teams
- Coordination of Interstate/overseas visitors to the office - security requests – i.e. Visitor passes general security building management
- OHS administrator – i.e. Ensure first aid, fire warden duties are performed by relevant staff allocated to role and ensure all OHS forms are maintained for the office
- Stock take purchaser of stationary, marketing merchandise kitchen supplies
- Administrator for Head of Institutional Banking QLD and team's newspapers and mail
- Manage staff workspace allocations, IT and telephone access
Qualifications and Experience Required:
Essential
- Minimum 5 years' experience within a Executive Assistant/Office Management role.
- Ability to accurately and effectively manage a variety of administrative and business management tasks required by the team and the Bank
- Highly organised approach to regular administrative tasks good attention to detail.
- Excellent computer literacy skills, including Outlook, advanced PowerPoint, advanced Word and intermediate Excel
- Ability to deal effectively and build relationships with Executive Assistants/ PA's of both internal and external clients at a senior level

- Banking and Finance Experience
