Overview:
Corporate Finance offers advisory services, financing and transaction banking of the most innovative kind. Governments, institutions and corporates all come to us for the advice and solutions that have allowed us to shine in even the most challenging markets. With over 4,200 professionals in 40 countries, the Corporate Finance arm provides integrated investment banking products and industry sector coverage. This includes advisory services, asset financing and leasing solutions, commercial real estate financing and equity capital market products.
Key responsibilities:
As an Executive Assistant in this area you will be responsible for:
- Dealing with confidential information and matters ensuring high level of discretion at all times
- Complex diary management
- Complex interstate and international travel arrangement and management
- Screening of heavy email traffic and telephone calls
- Extensive meeting co-ordination and liaison with senior management, staff, internal and external clients and global counterparts
- Drafting and submission of call reports on behalf of Head of CF
- Co-ordination of quarterly business reviews involving Sydney, Melbourne and Auckland offices, Co-ordination of quarterly staff updates and MD meetings
- Administrative duties including preparation of monthly American Express claims, expense claims and invoice approvals / online processing
- Preparation of meeting packs
- Drafting / mark-ups of correspondence and presentations
- Database management (minimal), filing and archiving (minimal)
Candidate requirements:
To be successful in this role you will have:
- An ability to communicate with people and influence effectively at different organisational levels and maintain effective working relationships
- High level of personal commitment, particularly outside business hours
- High level of discretion
- Superior presentation, organisational, written and oral communication skills
- Effective listening skills
- Attention to detail
- Functional understanding of business principles and operations
- Good understanding of IT with respect to matters involving computers, blackberries, mobiles, complex inhouse online systems
You will be:
- Experienced with Microsoft Office: Word (Advanced), Excel (Intermediate), PowerPoint (Advanced)
- Lotus Notes (Advanced)
- Personable, team player who works well under pressure and tight deadlines
- Forward thinker, planner and trouble shooter
