Executive Assistant to Chairman (Upper East Side) Job in New York 10028, New York Us

Top-tier financial institution seeks Executive Assistant to Chairman. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

 

·          Organize an ever changing business calendar and complex schedule

·          Procure equipment, supplies and services as needed

·          Basic office administrative maintenance and general functions

·          Monitor business expenses

·          Execute special requests and related duties as needed

·          Field heavy phone call volume

·          Update management of database and contacts

·          Manage travel itineraries and expense reports

·          Draft email and mail correspondence as well as coordinate mass mailings

·          Travel as needed

·          Corporate gift purchasing

·          Act as primary gatekeeper and liaison

 

This is a full-time position with a Monday through Friday work week with flexibility to work overtime as needed. Salary is generous but DOE. This position also includes a full benefits package after three months and the potential to earn a discretionary annual bonus. Job Requirements:

·          4 year degree from accredited college or university

·          Background in paralegal/legal and/or financial field preferred

·          Minimum of  5 years related experience working as assistant to C-level executives

·          Excellent references from both current and previous employers

·          Must have financial background and/or experience working in finance / at hedge fund

·          Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

·          Proficiency in all areas of Microsoft Office and Mac OSX

·          Professional mindset and the utmost discretion

·          Ability to work independently and as part of a team

·          Detail oriented with exceptional organizational skills

·          Strong working knowledge of financial industry and/or stock markets a strong plus.

·          Flexibility with hours and scheduling

·          Valid passport/international travel authorization

·          United States work authorization
