Jackson Memorial Foundation is the fundraising arm of Jackson Memorial Hospital.  The Foundation centrally organizes and executes fundraising activities and resources for capital projects at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Medical Center.

Job Description:

 

Jackson Memorial Foundation seeks an energetic, detail-oriented organized executive assistant who can support the daily interactions of the Interim CEO/VP of Development.  This person is responsible for the preparation, coordination, execution, and follow-up of all events and meetings associated with fundraising programs and campaigns, and regularly communicates and provides feedback to donors, committee members, vendors, and prospects.  The candidate for this position should be able to multi-task, work well under pressure, be patient and have a high level of confidentiality.

 

This position maintains project databases, manages and monitors the Interim CEO’s schedule, and provides all administrative support to said executive.  Important roles include preparing, editing, and polishing collateral materials, letters and other fundraising documents, along with maintaining the Golden Angel Society member files and documents.

 

Job Requirements:

 

·         More than 5 years experience in an Executive Assistant support role

·         High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential information and situations

·         Demonstrate poise, tact and diplomacy

·         Ability to work well under pressure and handle numerous tasks simultaneously

·         Work independently in a fast-paced environment

·         Detail oriented, accurate and able to work with minimum supervision

·         Must be responsible with an excellent work ethic

·         Excellent phone and customer service skills

·         Ability to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization

·         Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

·         Excellent written verbal communication skills

·         Be a self-starter with flexibility, versatility, and a positive “can do” attitude
