Executive Chef Brookdale Cypress Village, a premier senior living community, is seeking an Executive Chef with a minimum of three years of progressive experience in the food service industry with at least two of those years in a responsible supervisory role. Associate of Bachelors degree in culinary arts or an equivalent combination of education and food preparation experience in a directly related field. Supervisory experience and working knowledge of banquet production and planning is preferred. This position is responsible for overseeing the day to day operation of the kitchen and maintaining the highest quality food products and service to our residents. Experience to include management of food inventories, menu and recipe development, and staff management. Proficient in Microsoft Office, excellent communications skills and ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment required. Nights/Weekends/Holidays may be required. Wages based on exp. plus benefits.
