Executive Director – Credit Risk for Leveraged Finance recruitment
This leading international investment bank is currently looking to hire an experienced Credit Risk Analyst to join their team at the Executive Director level. The role will focus on managing a counterparty portfolio, in structuring transactions to reduce potential credit risks.
Key responsibilities of the role will include:
- Taking responsibility for the firm’s EMEA loan portfolio, identify risk themes and recommend risk strategies.
- Work closely with a range of internal stakeholders across investment banking, capital markets, credit committee members etc.
- Credit analysis of new transactions.
- Recommend transactions structures to the front office and also make recommendations to the Bank’s Credit Committee.
- Credit review of the portfolio.
In terms of experience, you will have:
- Extensive experience working in the Credit team of a leading Investment Bank.
- Previous experience underwriting Leveraged Finance transactions is essential.
- Familiar with risks associated with derivatives, FX and interest rate products.
- Some form of credit authority in a previous role would be a strong advantage.
- A European language would be an advantage.
