Position Description:
Morgan Stanley Bank, N.A. seeks an Executive Director, FX Options Group, Fixed Income Division in New York, New York to manage the Latam Foreign Exchange options market making book. Run both proprietary position and facilitate trades for clients in all foreign exchange options business involving Latin American currencies. Price client vanilla and exotic options requests for hedging and investment purposes. Manage the firm's market risk factors exposure to optimize profits and minimize bid and offers spreads derived from client trades. Master in-house pricing and risk management systems to maximize returns and minimize operational losses. Leverage advanced knowledge of local markets products and pricing dynamics in the Latin American region. Use Bloomberg professional and Reuters 3000 Extra to obtain market information and analysis tools in an optimal way to maximize profits. Write up daily market color emails targeting internal sales force and client base. Monitor, price and trade emerging markets currency options positions, including Asian and Central European currencies, in the global book. Actively participate in daily meeting with sales force promoting internally the FX option product. Meet with clients to assist sales teams to promote Morgan Stanley's FX option's capabilities. Identify, structure and market trading ideas. Work closely with the quantitative team in enhancing Morgan Stanley's pricing models. Supervise one analyst.

Skills Required:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Mathematics, Finance, Engineering or a related field and five (5) years of experience performing Latin American foreign exchange options trading for a global financial institution including pricing and trading vanilla and exotic options for hedging and investment purposes; identifying, structuring and marketing trading ideas; using Bloomberg professional to obtain market information and analysis; and managing market risk factors to optimize profits and minimize bid and offers spreads. Three (3) of the five years of prior experience must include monitoring, pricing and trading emerging markets currency options positions, including Asian and Central European currencies, in the global book.
