Executive Director – Head of Change (FICC) recruitment

This is a senior position that will give you extensive exposure to the Executive Committee and key decision makers across the group.  This offers an excellent entry point in the organisation and is an autonomous role with a clear value proposition. More specifically you will be responsible for:

• Working in partnership with the trading desk heads, translating business needs into a clear functional strategy, in line with the overall business strategy

• Working with the Global Head of Change to create, develop and direct a compelling operating model and action plan to enable the growth of the Global Markets business

• Own and manage all relationships with relevant business area and support functions - working from Front to Back Office

• Direct and lead a specialist team of change professionals to undertake the day-to-day delivery of the change portfolio (c£35m in value p/a)

• Managing financial plans and budgets for the change portfolio, ensuring targets and met and costs are contained

• External market facing activities, ensuring programme delivery and strategy is shaped to best practice

Key capabilities:

• Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into a clear operating model and medium term plan

• Deep knowledge of credit rates markets, collateral management and related operational functions, processes and platforms

• Up to date knowledge of themes and trends across the Fixed Income industry, especially impacts of regulatory challeneges (Dodd-Frank / Clearing etc) and automation of the transaction lifecyle.

• Proven track record of delivery (both BAU and Change) in a complex, multi-dimensional financial markets environment
