COLLABORATIVE
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR The Merrimack Special Education Collaborative has an immediate opening for
a dynamic educational leader with excellent administrative and management skills.
The Collaborative consists of ten school districts in the Merrimack Valley that are
focused on providing outstanding special education programming. The Collaborative
services over 600 students and adults with an annual budget over $19 million.
The successful candidate must possess: a strong collaborative style; an appreciation
of special education issues; experience managing finances; and familiarity with human
resource operations.
Qualifications include substantial school leadership experience; experience with
special education programs and issues; an earned Masters degree in education;
appropriate DESE licensure; or alternatives to above, as may be determined by
the Board of Directors.
Competitive benefits, and participation in Mass. Teachers Retirement System
offered. Salary range of $145,000-$165,000 will be based on qualifications
and experience.
