Catholic Charities of Schoharie County

Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Albany is seeking a full-time Executive Director for Catholic Charities of Schoharie County to provide for the overall management and administration of the agency. Services to individuals and families in the local communities of Schoharie County include: Domestic Violence, Crime Victims and Child Advocacy, Community Service Restitution, Kinship Care, Counseling, Food Pantry, and Emergency Assistance. This human service agency presently has an operating budget of approximately $650,000 and a 15-member staff (12 FTEs.)

The successful candidate will have the following minimum qualifications: Masters degree with 3 or more years of supervisory and administrative experience in a health or human service field or Bachelors degree with 5 or more years of supervisory and administrative experience in a health or human service field; ability to develop and share a clear vision for the agency that is aligned with the mission and vision for Catholic Charities and the Diocese of Albany; demonstrated ability to oversee the organizations finances in compliance with applicable federal and state regulations; demonstrated ability to manage/supervise staff and agency activities in a collaborative style; adheres to CQI and CC standards and expectations and responds to directives of the CQI department; and, ability to identify community needs, develop programmatic goals objectives, and expand/diversify funding to support the services provided to those in need in this rural region of Upstate NY.
