HOUSING AUTHORITY CITY OF ORANGE POSITION TITLE: Executive Director DEPARTMENT Executive SALARY $90,000.00-$150,000.00 (Depending on experience) DATE POSTED March 21, 2012 CLOSING DATE: April 4, 2012 The HousingAuthority City of Orange is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Executive Director. This position will oversee the operation of two hundred forty (240) public housing units, as well as administer the public housing maintenance and modernization programs. Applicants must possess outstanding and proven management skills. Prior experience in public housing and/or Section 8 programs acquisition and development experience is preferred. The candidate must have comprehensive knowledge of the principles,practices, and materials used in residential property management, asset management, low income tax credits, and maintenance of multi-family and single family housing; strong planning and organizational skills; and a strong sense of urgency, competitive and ambitious drive to get things done. Four year Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, or related field, Public Housing Certification and/or five years progressively responsible experience in residential property management, construction, contracting or maintenance preferred.
