About the Job
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR:
The Emerson Center for the Arts and Culture in Bozeman, MT is currently seeking an Executive Director to oversee all aspects of running this dynamic non-profit arts organization. The successful candidate will work with the Board of Directors to: develop, implement and manage strategic plans; generate ongoing financial support including major gifts; expand community awareness and support; and ensure the Emerson is meeting its mission and related goals in conducting appropriate programs and events as well as providing for the preservation and improvement of the historic Emerson building.
Preferred qualifications for this position include: experience in management, development or marketing; general knowledge of non-profit management; grant writing; knowledge of the Bozeman community; the ability to direct a volunteer intensive program; and excellent communication skills - both oral and written.
