The Opportunity:
Info-Tech Research Group is looking for an Executive Advisor to drive tangible process improvements for our clients on a selection of Cobit process areas (IT strategic planning, managing IT budgets costs, portfolios, and risk) and deliver high impact workshops that leverage our best practice Research Workshop Methodologies.

The role revolves around:
- Knack to master a research terrain and conduct substantive content discussions with Senior-Level Executives
· Ability in scripted and off-the-cuff speaking and presenting to engage audiences of 1 to 10
- High level of proficiency in communicating insight, analysis, advice and recommendations through written research reports, key-note presentations and workshops
- Critical thinking and problem solving to assess client situations and provide actionable outcomes based business/technical advice and access to appropriate Info-Tech Research Group services
- Strong commercial outlook and client service ethic; willingness to work outside job description parameters, thinking creatively about how to provide the highest level of customer/member service
- Managing workshop agendas and time boxing each activity to fit within the workshop timeframe
- Customizing delivery strategy and approach
- Encouraging client participation and engagement
- Eliciting best practices and key insights to drive client value
- Working with clients to identify and execute on key process optimization opportunities
The Executive Advisor will maintain relationships with all of their clients and, in this trusted advisor role, will be asked to participate in client engagement service activities and sell additional packaged consulting as needed.
Role Requirements:
- Outstanding record of academic achievement, minimum Bachelor's Degree; MBA, JD or other graduate degree an asset
- Minimum 5+ years of experience working as a Consultant or IT Management role
- A solid understanding of the IT industry and the role of the CIO (including leadership, IT Operations Management, strategy, trends and use of metrics)
- Exceptional ability to synthesize and distill large amounts of information
- Strong relationship, listening and interpersonal skills including experience working with senior managers and/or CXO level executives
- Strong ability to lead and manage ambiguous situations
- Superior interpersonal skills with an ability to work both independently and within a team
- Willingness to travel an estimated 50% of the time
- Demonstrable sales and/or business development experience with senior managers and/or CXO level executives
