Executive – IT Transaction Services recruitment

At Ernst and Young, our Operational Transaction Services - IT Capability team currently has exciting and challenging opportunities. We are seeking to recruit Executives who will be able to build on their transactions experience to work on a number of diverse and demanding engagements.

Our team delivers a wide range of services, from complex IT due diligence, post-merger integration, carve out/separation, post-deal value enhancement through to corporate restructuring. We deliver buy-side and sell-side engagements for corporate firms and private equity houses across the transaction lifecycle.

Your responsibilities as an Executive in IT Transaction Services will include:

- Advising and supporting clients through the complete deal lifecycle

- Providing a range of sell-side and buy-side IT services

- IT advisory and consulting within a professional services environment.

Qualifications/skills you'll need as an Executive in IT Transaction Services:

- Experience of transactions, ideally in performing of IT Due Diligence and/or IT post-merger integration, separation/carve-out assignments

- Experience in industry in a Managerial capacity (within an organisation's IT department or on the IT supplier side)

- Broad knowledge and deep understanding of one or more core aspects of a typical IT function, including Enterprise Architecture, IT Strategy and Governance, Systems Integration and Application Development, IT Service Delivery, IT infrastructure, IT financials and dynamics of an IT function

- Programme and project management expertise with demonstrable experience in managing and being responsible for the delivery of successful programmes

- Knowledge of Structured methodologies and a familiarity with industry standards such as ITIL for Infrastructure, Systems Development Lifecycle methods and COBIT for IT governance

- Business administration or accounting knowledge (example MBA or CA or CIMA).
