Executive Manager
Fantastic opportunity to join a progressive and highly successful Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service organisation dedicated to improving people's lives. We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic health professional to join our senior management team. Based in Broome WA and reporting to the Deputy CEO / CEO, you will be responsible for directing and coordinating the Kimberley Aboriginal Medical Services Council's clinical operations in Bidyadanga, Beagle Bay and the Kutjungka region. Your people management skills will be highly regarded in this role. The key responsibilities for this position include:
- Contribute clinical leadership in health service delivery to the KAMSC client population
- Provide direct line management for the unit managers of remote area Kutjunka, Bidyadanga and Beagle Bay Clinical services managers
- Contribute to the development, refinement and implementation of systems of continuous quality improvement throughout the KAMSC clinical services and business units under the direct management of this position
The key skills required for this role include:
- Demonstrated expertise in Aboriginal primary health care
- Qualified health practitioner with at least 5 years experience as a senior member of a primary health care team
- Demonstrated management abilities
- Knowledge of and ability to communicate effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander societies and cultures
