The primary purpose of this role:
Responsible for the identification, review and improvement of end-to-end processes across Institutional Business Banking (IBB)Risk using the application of Lean and BPI principles.
More specifically your main duties will include:
- Overall accountability, leadership, management and co-ordination of Productivity Improvement projects across IBB.
- Conducting research on industry best practice in Risk Management processes.
- Identifying bottle-necks, pain points and frustrations with existing Risk Management processes in the Business Private Banking and IBM businesses.
- Perform a diagnostic of processes (including comparing performance metrics, systems, data, and processes)
- Deliver capability assessments for current and target operating models.
- Apply Pprocess Excellence (PE)methodologies through education, exposure, and experience
- Coach, train and mentor colleagues in PE (Lean/Six Sigma) methodologies
We are seeking an experienced financial servicesprofessional with:
- Extensive experience from the financial services sector with exposure to process improvement initiatives and driving change.
- Understanding of the concepts of credit, market and operational risk.
- Experience workingin Institutional Corporate Banking environments will be highly regarded.
- Tertiary qualification in a finance or economics discipline.
Familiarity with credit origination and decisioning policies and processes will be highly regarded.
