Services Group which has approximately 700 staff and is responsible for managing 10,000 kilometre road network, significant drainage networks and other transport related infrastructure.
You will provide strategic leadership in the development, planning and implementation of capital and maintenance works in delivering Council's annual program of works. With the support of three senior managers, this position demands high level leadership in building delivery capacity of Council's internal engineering workforce. You will influence future direction, leading large multidisciplinary teams (500+) through a significant transformation program. Your technical and practical knowledge and advanced program management capability will enhance construction and maintenance of a significant civil infrastructure portfolio.
Tertiary qualified, your technical engineering knowledge is supported by exceptional people and resource management skills.
