Executive / Manager, Finance recruitment

It is comprised of Human Resources, Business Services, Company Secretarial, Corporate Communications and Investor Relations, Finance, Business Improvement and Strategy, Settlements, Group Treasury and Taxation Divisions and Group Financial Management.
We're currently looking for a Finance Executive/ Manager based in Jakarta Indonesia. This position will closely interact with:
- Local management back office
- Regional Product Control and Tax teams in Hong Kong
- Regional Finance management in Hong Kong and Singapore
- Other country Finance teams
The accountabilities of this positions includes,
Regulatory Accounting
- Prepare inputs for regulatory returns
- Internal submissions covering Regulatory Capital levels
Financial Accounting
- Accounting for securities brokerage and investment banking transactions
- Intercompany settlement monitoring
Taxation
- Preparation of tax returns and supporting information
- Translation into English for review by Regional Tax Manager in Hong Kong
General Ledger Control
- Ensure transactions booked in appropriate accounts
- Adherence to the Macquarie ledger control framework
- Ensure intercompany accounts reconciled and clearing accounts cleared
Management Information
- Daily Flash, monthly MI, Monthly expense analysis
- Cost centre maintenance cost recoveries
- Budgeting and forecasting
The qualification requirements are as follows.
Business Knowledge
- Regulatory, tax and statutory reporting experience in the banking or securities industry in Indonesia

Technical Specialist Skills

Indonesian technical regulatory, accounting and tax knowledge and reporting to a foreign head office as a minimum

Qualified accountant with 3 + years Big 4 audit background

3 + years securities brokerage investment banking experience

Strong systems and PC skills including MS EXCEL
- Proven ability to improve and automate processes
