The Team
The Market Risk team is responsible for the development and implementation of the group-wide market risk policy framework for all forms of market risk. Accountabilities include, establishing risk measurement methodologies, limit setting, oversight and reporting.
The Opportunity
As the Executive Manager you will have the opportunity to protect and grow shareholder value through leading a Market Risk Oversight team. You will develop and maintain a risk governance framework that ensures all risks are identified, understood, measured, monitored, as well as understanding the business strategy and risk appetite.
What will success look like?
- Leading a team of risk managers to ensure that all risks are identified, understood, measured and monitored, and with a focus on optimising risk/reward
- Exhibiting first class commercial acumen when making decisions in relation to transactions and new product approval
- Supporting profitable and sustainable business growth at a strategic level for the business units being supported including driving business initiatives from a market risk perspective
