The Role:
Reporting directly to the Head of Strategy Transformation, the primary objective of the EM, operational Strategy is to be responsible for translating the ES Transformation vision and objectives into operational strategies and plans for the broader Transformation Team and the Execution Teams across ES. Operational Strategy responsibilities include:
- Providing strategic leadership to the ES Transformation programme
- Developing operating model designs, options, and recommendations
- Answering key strategic questions pertinent to the ES Transformation
- Leading other transformation team and execution project team members
And specifically, you will be responsible for the following areas at an Executive level:
- Drive effective ES stakeholder engagement across Finance, HR, GE / CIO, ESLT and Transformation Productivity
- Execution Leadership
- Provide leadership for successful transformation
- Play an active role in managing the change journey
- Ensure alignment of other complementary, and potentially conflicting, agendas
- Transformation Direction
- Provide content and direction for the ES Transformation programme
- Contribute to shaping the ES Transformation end-state and horizons for key areas
- Drive operating model design and problem solving across ES
- Strategic Planning Support as required
- Drive and support the operational strategy underpinning the ES transformation
The Requirements:
In order to apply for this unique, challenging and highly rewarding opportunity with a high level of exposure to Senior Stakeholders, it is essential that you have worked in a similar capacity within a similar, high activity, busy and large scale operation recently, and can demonstrate the following skills:
- Relevant experience in senior leadership roles, preferably in Technology
- Strong leadership capabilities with excellence in driving results and delivering customer satisfaction
- Strong knowledge of Change and Organisational Development on large scale transformation programmes
- A strong consulting approach / experience combined with strategic, thought leadership
- Successful track record in program management and delivery
- Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills at all levels
