The primary purpose of this role:
The Executive Manager provides risk support for CFS Corporate Finance which includes Acquisition Finance Advisory (AFA), Client Acquisition Advisory (CAA) and Corporate Capital Markets Advisory (CCMA) transactions for CFS and Regional Agri-Business (RAB)segments of Business Private Banking (BPB) and ensures that Board approved risk appetite is appropriately reflected in authorised risk frameworks and systems, and that these are effectively applied to measure, monitor andmanageCFS Corporate Finance credit risk to achieve an optimum outcome for the Group.
More specifically your main duties will include:
- Manage lead a small team of risk professionals with a specific focus on leverage finance transactions to private equity sponsors and cashflow lending to mid-market corporate clients.
- Exercise sound credit disciplines by accurately measuring risk, identifying key risk issues and appropriate mitigants.
- Apply commercial judgement to balance the competing forces in a transaction.
- Provides sound credit solutionsfor business partners and actas a reference point.
- Credit Quality Review accountabilities and reporting protocols are completed in a timely and effective manner.
- Ensure risky credits are identified, managed effectively and reported as appropriate.
We are seeking an experienced risk professional with:
- Extensive credit analysis experience ideally fromthe Corporate Finance sector and leverage finance.
- Strong Leadership skills.
- FSRA Tier 2 Accreditations.
- Strong financial analysis skills.
- Tertiary studies will be highly regarded.
