Executive Manager, Risk Management Service Delivery

The primary purpose of this role:
Responsible for the ongoing development implementation of an Operational Risk Compliance framework suitable for the Wealth Management (WM) Advice business and that meets the requirements of CBA Group Operational Risk.
You will manage a team of Risk Compliance professionals delivering a portfolio of Risk Compliance services that assist the WM Advice business to better manage Operational Risk, meet regulatory requirements add value to the WM Advice business.
More specifically your main duties will include:
- Provide professional guidance to develop and maintain a dedicated enthusiastic team.
- Develop and maintain a suitably documented Operational Risk Compliance framework in line Group and regulatory expectations.
- Facilitate the implementation of appropriate compliance practices and processes to ensure compliance obligations are well understood across the business, embedded into business processes, monitored appropriately and subject to review at least annually.
- Implement and maintain programs for Materiality Assessments (MA's), Risk Control Self Assessment (RCSA), Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA), Key Risk Indicators (KRI's), Issue / Incident Management Fraud.
- Facilitate development and maintenance of Risk Profiles for the WM Advice businesses.
- As a member of the Wealth Risk Management Colonial First State WM Advice Risk leadership team, champion the CBA risk culture within the WM Advice business.
We are seeking an experienced people leader with:
- Sound working knowledge of the financial planning industry advice process.
- Knowledge of the Australian Financial Services Industry regulatory framework.
- Extensive Risk Management experience and demonstrated enthusiasm for complex risk analysis problem solving.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience e.g. Diploma in Financial Planning or equivalent.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, particularly in negotiating with diverse and sometimes very senior stakeholders.
